Gonzalo Higuain has agreed to join AC Milan on a season-long loan from Juventus with Leonardo Bonucci returning to Turin after one season.

Mattia Caldara will also join Higuain with Milan.

Higuain moved to Juventus in 2016 for €90 million (£75 million) and scored 40 goals in 76 Serie A appearances, but his future with the club was uncertain following the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Juventus is considering a sale of Gonzalo Higuain following the purchase of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Milan and Chelsea have been linked to Higuain, who scored 36 goals last season. Juve purchased Higuain from Napoli for €90 million.

"He is still an important player for us, but now we obviously have greater competition [up front], but he is a professional and we are evaluating his future together with the people who represent him," Beppe Marotta told Sky Sport Italia. "We have a great deal of respect for him."

Bayern Munich have agreed to buy 17-year-old Canadian phenom Alphonso Davies from the Vancouver Whitecaps for $13 million, which is a record for an MLS export. The transfer could hit $17 million if certain bonuses are hit.

Because Davies is a homegrown player, the Whitecaps will likely be able to keep all of the transfer fee, rather than share a sizable portion with MLS.

Davies will remain with the Whitecaps until the end of the MLS season, as he would not be able to play for Bayern in an official game until he turns 18 in November.

New Bayern coach Niko Kovac said at a news conference that he liked what he had seen from Davies.

"Nothing is final yet but it's looking good," Kovac said. "He is a big talent, he's young and very fast."

Davies has three goals and eight assists in 20 games this season.

Everton has confirmed the £40 million ($52.6 million) signing of Richarlison from Watford.

Richarlison told evertontv: “I want to have a lot of success with Everton. I think it is going to be important for me here to be with Marco Silva again. I will learn more because I am still learning as a player and I aim to develop and grow here. Everton have put their faith in me and I intend to honour this shirt and demonstrate on the pitch why I came here.”

Richarlison joined Watford, where Marco Silva was newly installed as manager, from Fluminense last summer. He scored five times in his opening 12 Premier League matches, but did not find the net again for the rest of the campaign.

Barcelonas has agreed to sign Malcom from Bordeaux after Roma nearly completed a deal for him.

Barcelona agreed to terms to land Malcom from Bordeaux in a deal worth an initial €41 million ($47.9 million), with an additional €1 million potentially due in add-ons.

Malcom agreed a five-year deal to move to the Camp Nou, with a release clause expected to be fixed at €400m.

Jose Mourinho will only consider selling Anthony Martial for the right fee and to a team outside the Premier League.

Chelsea has been linked with a move for Martial.

Martial has a year left on his contract and Manchester United has the option of adding another 12 months. 

Martial cost an initial £36m that rises to £58 million if all the clauses in his terms are met. It is likely the bidding from any suitors for the player would start at £50 million.

Jose Mourinho said Manchester United may miss out on their primary transfer targets this summer.

United have signed Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant this summer while also adding Alexis Sanchez in January.

Mourinho told a news conference: "One thing is what I want and another thing is what is going to happen."

United have drawn their first two matches on their tour of the United States ahead of the start of the International Champions Cup against AC Milan in L.A. on Wednesday.

Anthony Martial is determined to leave Manchester United but Jose Mourinho will resist selling him.

United are expected to trigger a clause that allows for his terms to be extended for a year and so tie Martial down until summer 2020. 

Mourinho has stated that Martial will be in his starting lineup for United’s first game of the new campaign.

Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford won't be ready following their World Cup holiday.

Real Madrid are preparing a £112 million ($147 million) transfer bid to Chelsea for Eden Hazard.

Chelsea will hold out for a deal worth £200 million and intend to offer Hazard a new contract.

Real Madrid also has interest in Mauro Icardi.

Neymar has confirmed he will remain Paris Saint-Germain amid continuing links with Real Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain bought Neymar for €222 million last summer.

"Yes, I will stay in Paris. I have a contract with PSG. The speculation? The majority of it is invented by the press," he said.

"I have a contract and people know the objective, the reason why I went to PSG. I want to win with this club and I hope this season will be wonderful."

Neymar also hailed the arrival of Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus from Real Madrid, saying it "will change Italian football."

"Cristiano is a great player. He is a football legend, a genius," he said. "We have to respect him. I think that it was a difficult decision for him, but I wish him good luck -- except against PSG."
